1. What The Honors is
The Honors is a golf scoring and bet-tracking tool. It records scores and calculates who owes what based on scores you enter. It does not process, hold, or transfer money. All settlements happen independently between players. The Honors is also designed to facilitate charitable donations from players to nonprofits of their choice via Every.org.
2. Accuracy
Payouts shown are calculated from scores entered by users. The Honors is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect score entry.
3. Recreational use
The Honors is intended for social, recreational use among friends in private settings. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any local laws governing social gambling. The Honors is not available to users in jurisdictions where such use would be unlawful.
4. Not a gambling service
The Honors does not facilitate, host, operate, or process gambling or wagers of any kind. The app only tracks scores and displays informational calculations based on user-entered data. Any wagers between players are private arrangements made entirely outside the app — The Honors has no involvement in, and accepts no responsibility for, any such arrangements. Players are solely responsible for their own compliance with applicable laws.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt it, use it to harass other users, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Age
You must be 18 or older to use The Honors. By creating or joining a round, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may not use the app.
7. Charity donations
Charitable donations are processed exclusively by Every.org, an independent registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit intermediary. The Honors does not solicit, collect, hold, transfer, or guarantee any donation funds. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and subject to Every.org's own terms and policies. The Honors makes no representation about the tax deductibility of any donation.
8. No warranties
The Honors is provided "as-is" and "as available." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Honors and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to disputes over scores, payouts, or wagers between players, failed or disputed charitable donations, or losses resulting from reliance on score or payout calculations displayed in the app.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
11. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates.
