Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. What we collect

  • First name and last initial (we ask that you do not enter your full last name)
  • Handicap index
  • Scores and bet results from rounds you play
  • Basic device and browser information
  • Donation amount and the charity you chose (sent back to us by Every.org so we can confirm your donation in the round). We do not receive your name or email from Every.org.

2. How we use it

  • To run your round and sync scores between players
  • To display round history on your device
  • To calculate and display bet settlements
  • To confirm and display charity donations for the round

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How we store it

Round data (scores, players, donations) is stored in our hosted database (Supabase) and round records expire 2 days after creation. We do not currently offer user accounts — all data is tied to round codes and device storage only. Local round history, player tokens, and preferences are stored in your device's browser storage (localStorage) and remain on your device until you clear them.

4. Third parties

  • Supabase — database and real-time sync
  • Every.org — charity donation processing
  • GolfCourseAPI — course data lookup (your search queries are sent to their API; no personal information is included)

We do not use advertising networks and do not sell data to third parties.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or stored by the app.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us (see Contact below). We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and complete any deletion within 30 days. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under applicable law (GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA), including the right to data portability and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

7. Children

The Honors is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
